Johor Skills Development Centre or Pusat Pembangunan Tenaga Industri Johor (PUSPATRI) was established in 1993 by Johor Corporation with the objective to provide technical training and skills upgrading to the industrial workfrorce.

PUSPATRI is one of the most established skills centre in the state, which offers continous training in various technical and technological based programmes to the industrial workforce, school leavers and unemployed graduated to upgrade their skills.

PUSPATRI is an approved training provider by Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department, Ministry of Human Resources through the Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK), Department of Skills Development (DSD) and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), SIRIM Bhd, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Energy Commision (ST), British Institute of Non Destructive Testing (BINDT), The Welding Institute of UK (ICORR), American Petroleum Institute (API) and Mobius Institude of Vibration.

Programmes offered by PUSPATRI are recognized by the industries. This shown by the large numbers of companies including multinational companies that have participated in the various training programmes. Besides offering programmes on weekdays, PUSPATRI also organize special package such as in-house courses and programmes held on weekends.

Trainees are equipped not only with technical knowledge, but also skills to optimize the use of technology. This made possible as PUSPATRI is equipped with the state of the art instructional facilities.
